Ether One Explored in Gameplay Trailer

November 19th, 2012 -

Imagine being a Restorer: capable of entering a person’s memories and going on a journey to fix what is ailing them.  My memories would be full of shame and certain images that would make you blush.  Luckily, in Ether One, you won’t be in my mind, but you will be in Jean’s, a mysterious woman whom you have a certain connection to.  As you explore and fix Jean’s mind, you’ll find out more about what the world was, who you are, and your connection to her.

Gameplay consists of you exploring memories to find out the history of the past and solving story based puzzles to unlock new portions of the the mind; portions that hold deeper or forgotten memories.  In the far corners of each memory will be Marker Stones – these will help you figure out and discover your past and your own secrets.  Depending on your actions, you can unlock a few different endings to the game that are based around human relationships.

Ether One is the first game in a two part series and is currently slated for an early 2013 release.  They are also looking to be greenlight on Steam, so if you are interested, help them out.
