Interview: Richard Boeser (ibb and obb)

November 2nd, 2012 -

In 2011 Chris and I attended E3, and if you recall, one of our favorite booths was the IndieCade. One of the games featured at the IndieCade that year was ibb and obb, a multiplayer focused 2D platformer with a unique gravity mechanic.

Fast forward to today, and now we’ve had the pleasure of chatting with Richard Boeser, the co-creator of Sparpweed, the studio developing ibb and obb.

During our interview we went over the development of ibb and obb. We asked about criticism for making a local multiplayer focused game. We discussed the ups and downs of releasing in 4th quarter holiday, and the various possibilities of how ibb and obb could work on portable devices. All in all, we are very pleased with how well this interview went and we appreciate Richard taking the time to talk to our humble little blog.
