Notable Software: Week of 8/14 – 8/21

August 15th, 2010 -

Another slow week ahead as the summer gaming drought continues on. This week we only have three things to talk about, so let’s get this thing done

Okay guys, it’s time to get serious. Like… really serious… I just need to dance… okay, maybe not. Gold’s Gym Dance Workout for the Wii will make you dance though. Dance like you’ve never danced before! Oh yeah, it also let’s you workout, I guess. I should really buy this. It would probably make me get motivated to workout again.

I’ve always wanted to check out the Y’s (pronounced eee’s) series, and with the release of Y’s Seven I still won’t be. See the things is, while I love RPG’s, I have no time to juggle this and all the other stuff I have to play. Sadly, this release will never be played by me. Maybe Jason will talk about it on next week’s podcast. A recommendation for you guys though: if you are starting this series with this title, you may be lost. After reading a brief plot summary, I was. Have fun with that.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a sequel. I don’t really have much else to say about it other than that. If you wanted an explanation of the game, I guess I’ll oblige. The game is a third person shooter that puts you into the role of Lynch. You know, the “crazy” one. Not Kane. I did watch James play the demo at my place, and it really didn’t catch my interest. So again, won’t be picking this up.

Summer droughts suck guys, and while this is happening, so will Notable’s. God I can’t wait until Birth by Sleep comes out. Then I’ll have something to talk about. A few more weeks guys, a few more weeks. Anyway, join me next week (I think) when we talk about Mafia II… because it’s the only thing coming out. *sigh*
