Fallout 3 DLC Conundrum

July 12th, 2009 -

So Fallout 3’s first DLC outing on the Xbox 360, Operation: Anchorage (as well as all the other DLC chapters), has been announced for the PS3 for some time. The DLC reportedly may or may not be being released next week. Now while I personally cannot wait for all this delicious DLC (O: A, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta), I can’t help but feel like I’m gettin’ screwed. I originally bought this game on sale when it first came out for nearly half off. $35 if I recall. What a steal, right? Anyway, my conundrum is, should I just buy all the DLC from the PSN, or wait until October when the Game of the Year Edition comes out? The “super impatient OMG I want it now” nerd in me wants to just purchase and download all the DLC as it comes out. On the other hand I would be willing to be patient and wait for the GOTY edition as long as my saves stayed intact, so I could just have it all on one disc. Either way I’m spending about the same, it’s just a matter of digital over hard copy. *sigh* The choices I’m given!
