Sucker Punched

Maybe you loved it, maybe you hated it. I just saw it, and I can say that it… hmm… well, you see… How should I put this? Well, the tagline is correct – you will be unprepared.

Now I can bore you with the same slop that everyone keeps throwing around about the plot, or the acting, or the slow motion… But you’ve heard it all before. There are MAYBE a couple scenes worth watching, but overall, it was a huge waste of my time. I can not believe I spent money on that movie. If you’ve yet to see it, and are a fan of mindless action with semi-pretty girls and no thought processing whatsoever, by all means see this. It’s right up your alley. If not, I can’t say that you should see it. Take your money and see Super instead. I haven’t even seen it, but I know it’s better.

In other news, I recently acquired a new writing position for a site by the name of Game Culture, which is based in New Zealand. Basically, think of what Steve does for us (overseas correspondent), and that’s what I do for them. Why am I telling you? Well, if you like reading my posts, it’s another place to see my nonsensical ramblings. But aside from that, it’s run by some wonderful people that are really passionate about what they do, and really write because they want to – not because they are forced. Think us (well, some of our articles), but with people that have years of experience in the field.

No worries, I’m not leaving Fist Full of Potions. I’m staying specifically for you. I’ll just be doing some other stuff in addition to this. Expanding my repertoire is important, you know. Exposure and all that good stuff. You never know who you’ll meet, and networking is vital to surviving in the world nowadays.

In any case… if there’s one thing you should get out of this post, it’s that Sucker Punch is a joke of a movie, and Zack Snyder is not allowed to make any more movies unless they are adaptations and/or Frank Miller is helping him.

Help people not waste their money and get sucker punched by sharing this article on Twitter, or show everyone that you dislike being robbed by promises of awesomeness by sharing it on Facebook, Digg, or something else, as it helps our site grow.

Paying for advertising? Why do that, when you can just follow Jason on Twitter, as well as Fist Full of Potions. If I like you enough, I’m bound to advertise for you. Besides, you wouldn’t want to miss out on all the awesome updates, would you?
